Alice Whittemore, Stanford professor of health research and policy, has been awarded this year’s NCI Women in Cancer Search award. As part of this recognition, Whittemore presented the Rosalind Franklin lecture at the 2007 NCI Intramural Scientific Retreat on Jan. 9. Her talk covered “Preventing deaths from Breast and Ovarian Cancer.”
