Faculty added to Nevada Cancer Institute

Nevada Cancer Institute (NVCI) announced that Oscar Goodman Jr., MD, PhD, joined NVCI as a researcher and clinical oncologist.

Dr. Goodman will be an assistant member of the Department of Clinical Oncology. In addition to his laboratory activities, Dr. Goodman will see patients with genitourinary cancers, such as prostate and bladder.

Dr. Goodman also will continue his research that focuses on novel mechanisms that regulate tumor angiogenesis in prostate cancer. Ronald Fiscus, PhD, director of Cancer Molecular Biology, Basic Science for NVCI, will serve as the mentor for Dr. Goodman’s project.
