USC Care CEO to Arrive Feb. 1

Minor Anderson, a seasoned leader in the management of clinical practice in academic medicine, will take the helm of USC Care Medical Group Inc., on Feb. 1 as president and chief executive officer.

Anderson will leave the University of Miami, where he was associate vice president for medical affairs and managing director of the University of Miami Medical Group & Hospitals.

“I hope to be able to build on the many successes of the Keck School of Medicine and work with the leadership to develop an integrated medical group that will achieve even greater heights in the future,” Anderson said.

His 32-year career also includes several executive positions at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and seven years in consulting with Coopers & Lybrand.
