Nevada Cancer Institute was honored with the Gold Well Workplace Award for its employee wellness program, being named one of the nation’s healthiest companies by the Wellness Councils of America (WELCOA).

The announcement marks the first time that a Nevada-based company has received recognition from WELCOA.

NVCI was chosen by WELCOA based on its accomplishments in employee wellness programs that improved the quality of life for the staff. NVCI’s workplace wellness and disease prevention program, Healthy Options Provided for Employees (HOPE) is designed specifically to enable employees to live a healthy life by proactively and effectively managing their health.
