The ASCO Foundation and ASCO announced that applications for the 2007 Advanced Clinical Research Awards (ACRA) in Breast Cancer are now being accepted. Mid-career clinical investigators are invited to apply. A letter of intent is due on Jan. 29 and applications due on Feb. 14. Applicants must be ASCO members. The ACRA is the ASCO Foundation’s largest monetary grant, providing $450,000 over three years. This year’s awards are funded by Avon Foundation and The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and will be awarded to two breast cancer researchers.
